DR. BRUCE LOWRY

Dr. Bruce Lowry was born in Michigan and moved to Colorado with his family in 1968. He graduated from Fairview High School in 1971. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1975 from Colorado College in Colorado Springs, and graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1979 in Denver. Dr. Lowry did his surgery internship at HealthONE Presbyterian Saint Luke's Medical Center also in Denver. He completed his Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Michigan in 1983. He is board certified in Anesthesiology and practices medicine in Colorado.

Bruce and his wife, Susan, a neonatal intensive care unit nurse by training, married in 1980. They have three children, Peter, a graduate from Davidson College who desires to attend medical school as well; Katie, graduated from Denver University in May 2006; and William recently finished high school in Parker. Since 1997, Bruce and Susan have also been the guardians of two fine nephews, Preston and Morgan.

Bruce is a life-long Episcopalian and since 1984 has been an active member of Saint Matthew's Church in Parker. He demonstrates his faith in Christ through his service on medical missions to Kazakhstan and four trips to Vietnam (with FTC) in October 1996, April 1999 with Peter, November 2001, and April 2006. Bruce is a skilled, thoughtful, and sacrificial anesthesiologist who has brought common sense, faithful prayer, and vision to the FTC Board of Directors since September 2003.
